Yesterday

Good Evening, L&LL,

Rusty didn't have much appetite today and his chronic congestion has been acting up, but by this evening he was eating pretty well. He enjoyed lounging in the warm sunshine (it was almost 50 degrees F. here today). This weather is not normal and not good for anything!

International snowshoe races are being held here this weekend. Apparently they are going to truck in snow, since most of ours has melted in this awful thaw.

Going downstairs now to hold Rusty's dinner bowl. FF T&G is the only thing that he wants to eat today. I have so much food here that he won't eat, or will only eat once. I'm going to take a lot of it to the local shelter later this week.

The 2002 version of "The Quiet American" was very good, but we preferred the 1958 version because it was more subtle. I got the book out of the library today, since I have never read it.

Hard to believe they have to truck in snow there. Same thing happened here at some local venues for the Olympics in 2010.

I hope Rusty stops being so picky about his food. I'm glad his appy finally picked up. I don't like this crazy weather either.

our snow is melting too.... had a great day skiing on monday.... that might have been the end of our season....


I wouldn't get rid of those cans yet.... picky phases come and go and Rusty may decide he'll eat one later on....
Sometimes they just have to go far back in the rotation....

congestion may be affecting that appy.... ( our juniper, elm and mulberry are already spiking and it's only Feb)

Rusty's congestion (nasal) was not good this evening, but I think it has improved a bit. Maybe it's weather related.

All winter Trix has had on-again/off-again nasal congestion that she's never had before....I think it could be weather/season related, too (she sleeps right next to the heating vent...dust and dry air galore). I hope Rusty's is better today.
