Yesterday

Hi Everyone,

Today is OPENING DAY!! Yay!! (But the Mets opener isn't until tomorrow; I'll be glued to the TV tomorrow afternoon; looking forward to a winning season).

Rusty had a good night. He ate most of his food and woke us up again this morning playing with the cap from the toilet bolt. It really feels like spring here today: melting snow and sunshine. Rusty went outside for the first time in a long time. His "enemy", Leyla from across the street who thinks she lives here, was in the yard. She took off when she saw him come out the door!

Going to walk to the shore of Lake Kiwassa now (a couple of miles) to see if the ice is out there. bbl.

Sending vines to all in need. Thinking of @Amy&TrixieCat and hoping that Petey is OK.

Rusty! What a character! Hope you all enjoy the sunshine today. Quite sunny here, too.

Looks like Rusty has a bounce going. Blame the Monojects: it's so hard to tell whether some, or any, or very little insulin gets in. But I like the thin lines that line up well, and I like the fact that bubbles are not a problem. I just wish . . .

We sat on our glassed-in front "cure" porch in warm sunshine this afternoon. Rusty came and joined us. Spring is here!

Love the image of Rusty in the "cure" porch. We had kitty in the solarium - perfect spring weather too. Lawn mowers are in my imminent future.

Nice greens for Rusty today. I hope the monojects get easier to deal with. I'm so excited about baseball starting again. The Reds play tomorrow too.

I don't think they did the chair this year. I'll have to look and let you know tomorrow. Ice is pretty much out on the lake here (which is a dammed up part of the river, so it's not a "real" lake.
