Hey Jen, just to expand on your question about Failed Reductions with SLGS, I believe it's not talked about with that method because of safety and it is a much more conservative method than TR. A lot of peeps that use it are working and can't test as much.......

Come on down Rudy!

I agree with Bobbie its a safety measure.

I think it was @Mandy & Rex that asked the question on Rudys post so just tagging her so she sees the response.

Hello, Green!!! :D:D:D
Well he cleared that bounce.
Surf little one.
Maybe a little LC snack to encourage him to stay flat, sometimes when they clear a bounce they can continue to drop all the way into the next PS.
He may of course bounce.
I'd check him again at+8

He got an ounce of LC as soon as the 70 showed up. I'm going to get a +7.5. Hopefully, he's holding steady. I'm getting ready to run out for a few hours.

What he'll do the next few cycles with the automatic reduction tonight is anyone's guess. Place your bets! Place your bets!

If he bounces tonight and is high by PS(pink/high yellow), you could shoot through the bounce.

You would shoot the same dose, taking the reduction tomorrow morning. It might help him clear the bounce sooner and get back to better numbers sooner.

I'll play it by ear after I poke his before dinner. :)

Rudy is an unpredictable cat - I doubt there will be any bets! o_O

My boy is always full of surprises. :)

Rudy was at 57 when it was shot time. Fed MC and stalled for an hour. 161 at +13. Shot his reduced dose of 2.25.

On another sad note - I had to put my Sphynx, Peau, to sleep this afternoon. CHF and HCM got the best of her.

Thank you. She really was the best Sphynx ever. I knew she wouldn't have long after she was diagnosed last month. It hurts like hell.

(((Jenn))) So sorry to hear about your kity Peau. Heart conditions are hard ones to handle.:bighug::bighug::bighug:

Good work today Rudy. Give mom an extra snuggle tonight.

Oh Jenn, I am so sorry about Peau; Fly high, land softly. cat_wings>o

Guess Rudy was trying to cheer you up some with his greens today. Congrats on the reducie.

Thank you. My poor girl. So damn hard. I don't know what I'm gonna do witbout that noodge. :(

And Rudy's green did cheer me up today. Right now - he looks like he could use some cheering up. He's laying in the carrier I used to bring Peau to the vet. :(

I’m very sorry to hear about Peau. :bighug:
Is there a story behind her name? It's unique.

I have to wonder if Rudy will be one of those cats I hear so much about that bounce all the way into remission. :cat:

Rudy just might bounce himself into remission. He's always full of surprises.

Sphynxes are also known as Canadian Hairless, so I decided she needed a French name. Peau (pronounced Po) is French for skin. Seemed perfect for my crazy naked girl.

:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
Jen so sorry you had to say goodbye to your girl.
Hope you and Rudy can comfort each po there.

Fly free and land softly darling Peau:rb_icon::rb_icon::rb_icon:

Jen, I'm so very sorry about Peau. Such a beautiful girl. You and Peau will be reunited one day. For now, let Rudy's love help heal your broken heart.

Fly free, sweet Peau, and land softlycat_wings>o
