Good Evening, L&LL,
Great news: Rusty is pneumonia-free! He went to the vetty to get his monthly B-12 shot and she listened to his lungs and breathing and said that he is back to his old congestion. We thought this was so, but it is good to have confirmation.
Rusty was full of energy this morning, even in this hot weather (which is supposed to break tonight). He had to mend a few more shark nets this morning, but the vetty visit pulled him back up to the shallows of the lagoon. I think he may have gotten a fur shot tonight (if you can call a shot with a dose so small that the syringe looks empty a "fur shot"). We'll see later. He did pull away just as I was shooting.
Edward heard coyotes howling last night on the nearby mountain, but Rusty didn't wake up (and neither did I).
bbl. We are caught up in the Viet Nam series. Last night's installment was particularly meaningful to us because we were students during all the demonstrations.
