Hi from the Big Apple,

Rusty had a good trip, but he was more active than usual. The last hour we had terrible traffic and he just wanted to get here. Up and down, meows, etc. once here he slept soundly.

We have the usual trip bounce, but all is well. I shopped in a convenience market yesterday and spied quite a few cans of old-formula Wellness!!! The Canadian cans, too! Going back for more this afternoon.

We are taking my grandnephew for pizza at our favorite pizza place this evening. He just graduated from college and got a job in NYC.

Yo Kitties, meet you this afternoon at our favorite hotdog cart in Central Park. Then we'll feast on hotdogs, watch the tourists, and visit the big cat on Cat Hill. Party on my roof tonight to plan the rest of the week. See you soon.
Rusty

HI Ella :coffee::coffee::coffee:

Enjoy the Big Apple! Congrats to your grandnephew! How cool is that? Enjoy the celebration.

I am glad Rusty is settling in. Comforting in a way to see that "trip bounce", things are normal then. I cannot believe that you found some "old" wellness, Canadian too,. KUDOS! I'd go back and buy all they have. :cat::cat::cat:

Forgive me for not getting back to you sooner on Vanessa, and her DX from all the tests. She has been Dx'd with small cell lymphoma, intestinal. I suppose if one has to have cancer, this is the one to have, as it is the most treatable, with good results. I have heard from a few FDMB members that are on FB, like Linda B, who's had experience with this, and it is comforting to read that the protocol; she followed is the same one that my IM vet is recommending for Vanessa. Linda had Teddy for 7 more years with that protocol So... our paws are crossed. We expect to get all up in running for her in a couple of weeks. Right now she's on Prednisilone, and B12 injections, gotta get the Leukeran (sp?) going for the lymphoma aspect of all this. Vanessa is doing well, still her same old self, one would not know she was sick. I sure hope we can keep that going for some time to come.

Have an excellent week!

(((((Ella & Rusty)))) Have a great time in NYC!! Glad you could score those old formula cans of Wellness!! My kitten Buster prefers the old formula Wellness as well, so I have been buying all that I can find myself. Hope you find more while you are in the city. Ok Rusty, enuf of that bouncing--have a great week!

@Michelle and Mannie (GA)

(((((((Michelle and Vanessa))))))))))) I am so sorry to read about Vanessa, but I am sending my strongest healing prayers for her successful treatment. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug: Hugs and scritches for Lola, Bug and Vanessa, my favorite kitteh barista! :cat:

So sorry to hear Vanessa's diagnosis. She is such a trooper and I know that she will have the best care. Linda will be a big help to you. Our Kitteh Barista will continue serving the very best coffee to her appreciative customers. We love her.
Rusty sends a beautiful bouquet of healing vines.

Enjoy the big city. Nice score on the old Wellness. My rowing coach's kitties also prefer the old cans and I just scored 17 of them for him. Seems the WN chicken is the first to go.

@Michelle and Mannie (GA) both Neko and civie Theo had SCL. SCL kitties can go into remission, Theo did. He was on pred plus every two weeks Leukeran. Vines for Vanessa.

@carfurby , @Ella & Rusty & Stu(GA) , @Wendy&Neko @Tiger(GA) and Ruth - hi all! Thankyou all for your support. I, and Vanessa, are very grateful. We are very hopeful for Vanessa. Ella, Linda has been so helpful, and took care of so many of my fears. Wendy - so cool to read about Theo. That too calms my anxiety. Thanks all. We plan on starting the leukeran tbis weemend, when I am home and can see how she does. Lol, she has proven to be difficult to pill. Shessshhhhhh.....

Take care all! Have a great week!

Sorry to hijack your condo Ella.
