Good Morning of the Full Blue Moon!

Rusty had a good night (he slept through the night, didn't eat much of his nighttime foods, but breathed well). This morning he ate all his breakfast.
After 8 cycles, I decided to inch his dose up to a "full" 0.5Unit (0.40mm on the digital calipers, Monoject syringe). He did have a steep dive yesterday, but the last 8 cycles have not shown much improvement in his bgs. Time to get them down so he doesn't accept those pink and yellow numbers as "normal". The LagoonMeister needs to get back to work.

Gotta get going to the Post Office. This afternoon we'll be going to Lake Placid Center for the Arts to see the Met in HD (new production of Mozart's Cosi fan Tutte). Rusty can listen on the Saturday Met broadcast.

Don't forget the Full Moon Party tonight (see the separate party condo).

I’m sorry Rusty had to trade some good BGs for better breathing, I hope you figure out a steroid workable dose soon. You think the shot is wearing off already? Does the vet have any explanation for it? Isn’t it supposed to last for weeks? I know last time you had a good suspicion why it might have worn off too soon, but not so this time around? More easy breathing vines for Rusty and some good BGs ones too! :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Vet hasn't an explanation. It is unique in her experience.

Rusty didn't eat any of the food left for him while we were at the opera. He's waiting now for me to come down so that he can finish his dinner on my lap while I hold his bowl.
The new production of "Cosi fan Tutte"--set in 1950s Coney Island--was really neat. The performance was excellent (singers were superb), and the staging was amazing: extras from the real Coney Island amusement park had important roles (dwarfs, snake trainer, sword swallowers, fire eater, acrobats, bearded lady, et al.). It was a lively afternoon. Lorenzo daPonte, Mozart's librettist, would have approved of this production. He was an adventurer and free-thinker. He is buried in Greenwood Cemetery in Brooklyn.

The day started out sunny, but it is overcast now. I hope we'll be able to see the full Blue Moon.

Everyone have a good evening. We have a Netflix disc of "Dunkirk" and are going to watch it tonight.

I agree that good breathing takes precedence. Eating is important, too, though. Rusty, I know you don't like to eat alone, but maybe you can nibble just a little more when the beans aren't home? You don't want them to think you don't appreciate the effort they put into your meals, do you?

Sending more good breathing and good appy vines. Enjoy the movie! My DH would love it - he's a huge WWII buff.
