Hot water is amazing. I had a friend many years ago who once asked an elderly woman (who is now passed) what the greatest invention in her lifetime was, in her opinion. Her answer was indoor plumbing.

How did the pioneers even live? No hot water? Maybe they were zombies or they were a different breed of human. Nice to hear you now have hot water again, it makes all the difference. Same with air conditioners in the south, how did people even live here in the summer?
