    T4 1.0
    Free T4 29.5
    TSH <0.03

This article indicates low TSH is a possible indicator of the development of hyperthyroid.

She does also have slightly elevated kidney and liver values (September) which we originally thought were just sort of related to the diabetes. Unfortunately the lab they sent the test to didn’t do feline auto antibody test, but I don’t know if that would have helped more or not.
She also still has polyphagia to some degree, her poops are never right, etc.
Combined with the belly and side excess grooming....

Can anyone weigh in on this? I haven’t been feeling well for a couple of days so my vet just texted me the results at the end of the day yesterday.

Would it be possible for you to enter all of Alice's labs on the "Labs" tab on her spreadsheet? Also, make sure that the reference ranges match up with what you have on your print out of Alice's labs.

I just need to gather all her lab work up and I’m not always sure I know where all the printouts are! I’ve been meaning to update everything but I always check to see what is it is not within the normal range provided on the lab work.

Outside of thyroid I can’t think of anything else to diagnose or treat besides .... allergies? No clue why else she would start licking her fur off. :\ Comfort?
—on the topic of licking to provide comfort, my chronic excessive groomer was caught the other day scratching his side while trying to lick the air. It was a bit amusing.

As for that vacation dose I’ve been worrying on all month, I’ll have more help at home than I originally thought, so I’ll stick with the 1.5u.....

Now there is one piece of good news!
Best of luck finding and getting lab results posted. It can be time consuming, but well worth it for the help you can get here;)

It's a good idea to get all the paperwork together and track the results. I did that with my GA Tanner. It was very helpful. He had hyperthyroidism for approximately 6 months before he had the radioiodine therapy which caused hypothyroidism so I have some knowledge of both.

T4 of 1.0 is actually hypothyroidism, not hyperthyroidism. HypOt is NOT common in cats unless the cat is on thyroid meds or had radioiodine therapy to treat hyperthyroidism. Ideal range is 1.5 to 2.5. Tsh is usually not tested if the cat is known to have hyperthyroidism, only when hypothyroidism is in play.

I need to read back as I am not familiar with your kitty's history.

I just counted and as of this evening she has had 7 blue PMPS in a row! Lovely to see. :D

I spent my day between the dentist (and now my whole mouth hurts), taking a friend to the ER, and then dealing with my own nausea and vomiting. I’m a wreck for dealing more with labwork and research today. I looked at the lab SS tab though and I’m not sure how to organize different tests and different dates? How to organize it willl be my next barrier to getting info put in.

@Mandy & Rex , I was wondering if her T4 seemed low even though it was within range technically.... I appreciate any and all insights. I can give you a brief overview of Alice’s history.... if I know which info is relevant. I’m a little tired right now though so it will have to be later. Thanks for popping in. :)

Some people add another 'tab' to their existing spreadsheets for 'Labs' You may want to look around at some of the other people who've done that and see what they did...

Sorry about that dental thing - I was there myself not long ago - but it didn't make me nauseated/vomiting. Is that from the dental work or just from being sick? Either way, I'm sorry for you - you may want to take the evening off...get some rest and start fresh tomorrow..:bighug::bighug:

FWIW, Gabby had one year where she tried to lick her belly bare. It was allergies. Omega-3 can be helpful as long as your kitty isn't sensitive to fish! Some vets recommend Zyrtec.
