Good morning!
AMPS 207 shooting 2.5F

Boomer left most of a serving of food last night. I woke around 3:30 and he called me shortly after so I assume it was probably him calling me that woke me. I checked on his food, told him to eat, and went btb.

Yesterday morning I went out early looking for birds of prey. But I didn't have much success. Between the time I see them and actually can get out of my car with my camera, they fly away. I did get a couple of nice landscape shots but that was it.

Last Friday it was beautiful out; DH and I went on a road trip in the afternoon then when we got back home I immediately went to one of my local ponds....a friend had told me there were a pair of young Beavers hanging out. The Beavers turned out to be Muscrats lol. But....as I approached the bridge overlooking the pond, I saw this guy......only the second time I've seen a coyote in London and my first photo of one. He ran across the pond....surprised me because the ice was very thin.

AWE! Boomer looks so Cute :joyful: It seems with the colder weather some Kitties BG goes up a bit?

I have a 6 ft privacy fence but one morning I found a coyote sleeping in my bushes! I feel sorry for them. One only has 3 legs. I think people are putting out traps & killing them. I haven't seen any in months.
I live in a subdivision but my area is surrounded by Forest preserves. So many houses have been built over the years that the animals that have lived here for years are being displaced, nowhere safe to go. It makes me sad!
For this New Year I'm going to try real hard to

be Happy :joyful:

Love today's picture! Coyotes are just so cool. I have only ever seen one, but according to the park rangers, they are all over the place. And this is the small forest preserve in the middle of town.
