Good morning,

Leo’s vet visit went very well yesterday and afterwards when we got home, he was back to being his usual chill self. He had BW and a urine test and I should have the results later today or Monday. I’m hoping his CKD hasn’t progressed much since the last test in August.

He complained a little bit at first about the car ride but settled down once he realized he wasn’t in mortal danger. :rolleyes:

At the clinic, he was a sweet little angel the whole time and didn’t say a word while he was being poked and prodded. At the end of the apt, the Dr. asked me if it was ok to pick him up because she wanted to give him a hug. She picked him up, hugged him then put him headfirst into his carrier. As soon as he was in the carrier and deemed himself safe, he turned around and gave her two good thwacks with his paw to let her know what he thought of all the poking, prodding and hugging!! :stop::stop::stop:

I’m sure Leo didn’t think it was funny but it was actually hilarious and we had a pretty good laugh about it. That's my Leo!! You tell em kitty!! :joyful:

Have a great day everyone, stay healthy and safe kitties. :bighug:

Haaaaa!!! Leo!! my man! I love it when he's the boss :P

What a relief the visit is over... I hope all of his blood work comes back with good news and no progression on the CKD.

Have a great day Sonia! Keep up the great numbers Leo :cool:

@Beth 73
Beth, thank you for reminding me about Feliway and RR, I completely forgot about that stuff. I am for sure going to get some for next time.
Please tell Elmo he's already a "star" and he doesn't have to go into outer space to prove it!! :bighug:

Good for you Leo! I've wanted to do that at the doctors office many times! :p (that's why I don't go there anymore!)

I wish Molly was well behaved at the vet. She gets quite upset. We have to take the carrier apart to get her out. She cry’s the whole time :rolleyes:
Aww, poor baby, it makes me sad to see them so afraid. Leo won't come out of the carrier by himself either so I pull on the towel he's on and slide him out that way.
Beth and Joy recommended Feliway and Rescue Remedy for vet visits etc. (see my thread from Thursday) I'm going to pick some up for next time. I wonder if that would help Molly also?

Where can you buy Feliway? I was actually reading up on it. We travel quite a bit in the summer. We go camping and Molly cry’s the whole time in the truck. But once she’s in the camper she’s fine. She loves camping :joyful:
