This morning, I gave Apple his shot but he pulled away once the needle was in and there was insulin on his fur. Of course, I did not re-shoot. I think he may have gotten about half of his dose. We're just a bit perplexed at his recent numbers, since he didn't get as much insulin as he should've.

His depot is still working in his favour so don't worry you'll be back on track again soon. Hopefully he won't even notice! 
Fur shots! ARGHHH, I know how you feel! Instead of NS in the cell on your spreadsheet, you might want to put FS instead.
