Mowgli has had a bouncy week. Nice evenings overall though!

He’s approaching his 1 year diagnosis anniversary. I’m thinking about trying Levemir after we finish his last 1.5 pens of Lantus ... maybe that could help him with some later nadirs and more flat cycles. We’ll see... I’ll bring it up in a few months when all the Lantus is gone.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. :joyful:

He's having very nice evenings, and it looks like he's clearing the bounces fairly quickly. Late nights for you  but at least you're there to see what he's up to.
Have a wonderful week Amanda!! :):):)

Thanks Sonia! I had a question for you actually: did I read that you were going to try the one drop subscription service? I think I might be interested ... it looks like it
Could cut my strip cost in half or so

Yes, I ordered the kit and it came in before Christmas but the dates on the strips were expired so I tried contacting them by phone a couple of times and didn't hear back, probably due to Christmas, so I emailed them after the holidays and I heard back right away. They promised to send another batch of test strips but I haven't received them yet. When I get them, I'll try to figure out an approximate delivery time so I can make sure I have enough strip inventory for the future. I'll let you know how it goes. Sue and Tina are using them and are very happy, from what I've understood.

I never thought to check the dates of the strips! Now I’m going to do that.

I live across the border so sometimes Canadian customs is dumb and holds my stuff hostage. Last time I requested the strips on Jan 5. It arrived on Jan 17.

I usually order when I’m down to two bottles.

I’m in Canada too! I’m just trying to figure out how my fellow Canadians are getting along with this service. You would think of one drop offers Canadian deliveries that they would have some sort of clearance with customs. But hey. Customs gunna customs ;) thanks for the info Crista :)

I emailed OneDrop and let them know that happened so hopefully something changes. It’s only happened twice (three times if you count the one time they gave me 2 extra meters and customs made me pay $30 to receive the box. I don’t know why OneDrop gave me two extra meters but it came in handy one day when my mom lost the meter lol we found it slipped in between the couch cushions a few weeks later).
