He ate all of his food this a.m.! Seems he may be in a little pain or just tired and tired of being messed with. He has been up and about off and on all morning. I have been busy cleaning bathrooms and bedroom. Scrubbed down his litter box really good. Went and bought a little 1 1/2 gallon wet/dry vac and cleaned up some of his poo scoots that he had left on the carpet beside the litter box. Going to get another test in 30 min and then I think I am going to try and catch a nap. Will see if hubby can get the next couple of tests so we have a full curve.

Nothing given for pain (discomfort).

Gave ~0.2mL Torbugesic.

He got up to reposition himself and took him a bit to lay back down. Typical of pancreatitis behavior for him.

He ate all his fuds through the AM cycle and ate his PMPS food good. Have seen him drinking from water bowls too.

Will give Canna tomorrow am and see if we get the same results with it again.

Poor little guy. Hope he feels better soon.
Thanks Julie:bighug:

Me too. If this is a panc flare it is mild for him. He has been hospitalized three times with it. His BW showed elevated SPEC and then he had his dental (stress) so fingers crossed that it will pass soon. As long as I can keep him eating and drinking (and not throwing up) I feel I can get him through it.

Lizzie, if you don't see better numbers by tomorrow I'd bring him back up to 1u. I know it's difficult when you're working but he's not use to these higher numbers and they can make him feel icky. Hope he comes down tonight.

Waiting the 8 cycles though isn't so bad either IMO so go with your gut.
Questioning if some of it may be pain influenced.

Here is my thoughts, if he stays with his pattern if peak on a dose at 8-10 cycles and pain IS a factor maybe he will drop a little and I could hold until Wednesday AM to increase and then peak on new 1.0u would fall next weekend. BUT - I agree with you, I don't like him this high.

Ok, he is done for the day. Slathered his ears up really good and turned the space heater on so he can sit/lay in front of it. I know when I don't feel good, warmth is a good thing.

It was a beautiful day here but on the cool side and cooling down tonight even more. Yesterday evening was crazy - @ 5pm it wa2 84* by 9pm it was 58*. It got down to 43* overnight. That is a 40* difference in 12 hours! It wont last long but nice while it is here.
