the first test was 104, and my heart dropped. I immediately did it again and it was 94. I sure hope he doesn't fail this OTJ trial!

Are you giving a little snack at +9? That helped Freckles get back to green AMBGs.

Go Mango! A blue or two doesn't mean they are destined to fail, just ask Freckles and Rex. But like Mandy said, giving Freckles some food during the night brought down her AMBG. It might be worth a try.

Any number under 100 is good, and if you get an AMPG or PMBG over 100, just test again 2-3 hours after feeding. If the number comes down, the pancreas is working and it's all good!
