Yesterday's greens and immediate reduction in the PM cycle

After a fabulous day yesterday, Ivana earned herself a reduction in the PM cycle. First dose at 0.5u was this morning. It looks like she's in a mini-bounce from the 2.1 / 38 though, hopefully that will sort itself out soon.

Still blue, but at least it's a low blue and she's down from her +2. C'mon girl, don't forget what those greens look like!

Chardy thanks you all for the kind thoughts. She's currently asleep a few metres away from Ivana & I. She slept most of the day today, although she did peck at a grape tomato and a piece of grain bread. She didn't eat any of the egg I cracked for her though (not her egg, she's stopped laying), usually that's the most coveted food item ever for our girls. Hopefully tomorrow will be a nice sunny day so she can have some more sunshine time, as today was grey and rainy all day.

Chickens loooove eggs! The yolk is a good source of protein for them, and the shell replaces the calcium they lose from laying. All our girls get to eat the eggs they lay, they get so excited about them it's gorgeous.

Learned something new! When I was in Barbados about 5-6 years ago for a wedding, there were lots of chickens that people had just running free in their yards. They were so beautiful and I took some photos of them and one I framed and have in my kitchen.
