Good morning everyone,

All we have had since the beginning of the week is grey sky and rain here.
The two last morning cycles helped enhance the moral but yesterday was
a thunderstorm that shook up the building. This black preshot was coming
out of nowhere... I just don't understand, why such a crap, have I made such
bad things in my previous live to deserve that kind of treatment ? Hell, starting
to have enough of high numbers, seem it's all around, haven't seen green for
a f.. while.

Anyways, Small Kitty is a wreck, got to live with it.

*I've resume the feeding between cycle, he might be mad at me
cause there was nothing yesterday. I now add a dry chicken treat also,
that will make Big Brother hurry on so Small Kitty is not eating
everything.

Good day to all, don't be discouraged by my mood, not all cats
are wrecks.

Sébastien

Sorry for the black. I wonder if not having food yesterday made his numbers go lower than he's used to and the black is a bounce? I'm just guessing since you couldn't get any daytime tests. Hang in there. SK will come back down. :bighug::bighug:

I do feel for you with having such a bouncy kitty. :bighug::bighug:

Carla may be right about what is going on mid-cycle. As an example a few days ago Tuxie had AMPS of 12.8 ( 230 US) and PMPS of 29.3 (527 US), HOWEVER in between he had a nadir of 2.1 ( 38 US) . Having that midcycle test really shows a MUCH different picture than just the AMPS and PMPS. Unfortunately it is so hard to know what is happening without being able to test in between.

Just keep on doing the best you can. And also remember that if SK feels and acts well that is more important than a number. Kitties live in the moment so if he is doing well that is what counts right now, :bighug: :bighug:

Hi Sébastien,

I understand how hard it is with a bouncy kitty. My guy is bad that way too. I try hard not to focus on the numbers too much, just how he seems in his day to day life. These bouncers will never make it easy for us.

Thanks for the good comments, IT IS hard to have these up and downs (GL, not moral (but it is some time)).
Not sure I'm a big fan of Levemir anymore, I used to have some more prediction with Lantus.

The brothers will be happy tonight. I prepared them a small melting pot for the in between
feeding. Put just a little bit of wet food (not even a thee spoon), added raw ground chicken
bought at pet food store + dry chicken treats.

If they're not happy with then hell on them !!! :stop:

:)
