Hi everyone, Willow is doing great, eating very well, pooping, and last night slept up on her twin bed (she hadn't been moving around much yesterday, I think neuropathy was bothering her).

My vet said to call in for a refill for more meds if the ondansentron, etc was helping her... how long should they be continued after a very slight possible flare (how many more days meds should I request?) Started meds Saturday evening. She'd been off her food, lethargic, and in some pain/discomfort, but no bloodwork done. Also, are ondansentron tabs as effective as the injections? I've been giving that as injections, and cerenia tablets.

I'm not sure how long you should treat, but I hope Willow has a good day today. Sending prayers.

From personal experience, I would not stop until very close to 100% better. I stopped when Smokey and Olive were "better" but actuality they were not. It came back and lasted a whole lot longer.

If you can and vet doesn't give you hard time about it. Have a stash of meds at home so you can start the minute you see an issue.
