Good morning!
AMPS 248 :eek::rolleyes: shooting 2.0u
The lower he goes the higher he bounces.

Boomer ate most of his overnight food, leaving about a tsp.
I love it that, when I wake during the night and in the morning, he's usually snuggled in beside me! :bighug::cat:

Today on the agenda.....well it's supposed to rain today....actually right now we're supposed to be getting freezing rain but it's not actually doing anything yet....so a bunch of indoor chores and I guess I really should get my income tax stuff together:rolleyes:. When I was working I used to do my income tax as soon as I received my T4 from work. Ever since I retired I leave it to the last minute lol. Procrastination: I've become an expert. :oops:

Thank you for all the comments/compliments on our bathroom reno......we really like it too! The only things I insisted on were that we didn't lose storage (in fact we doubled it) and that I wanted a rainhead shower. Now DH says that his showers are twice as long since the rainhead feels so good! And DH wanted a heated floor....I didn't really care as I always have slippers on....but it does feel nice and warms up the bathroom nicely.

Today's photo is of a sunrise at Saunders Pond the other day. I go there pretty much every day now at least once; new birds are migrating in frequently and last year there were Loons on the pond....I'm hoping they come back.

Deputy Boomer, it's nice that you allowed your beans to go out for nachos, but don't forget that you are needed in the lagoon. Down you go!

Beautiful shot, Judy. No loons here yet, of course, but the Canada Geese are resting on the ice ledges next to the open part of the lake, and today we heard RedWing Blackbirds. Robins have been here for several days. Tonight it's snowing!

I have ordered a pair of good birding binoculars and am looking forward to their arrival, early next week.

Have a good weekend.

I've only had the pleasure of seeing a loon once; it was on our river in the middle of winter. Too far out to get a good shot. Tonight I found out where there is a Barred owl hanging out so tomorrow, with Boomer's permission, we'll drive to the park just outside of our city. An acquaintance of mine has photographed it so I will ask her where in the park its hanging out.

That poor loon must have been stranded! They spend their winters in the ocean, off the coasts of New England and the Middle Atlantic.
