Last day on a drop of insulin, tomorrow begins his OTJ trial. Pretty excited. He's still doing well, staying in normal range and has a decent appetite.
Hidee is good too, keeps wanting to eat like a pig but I know she has a sensitive stomach so I only give her small amounts at a time, she plays all the time.
Wish Thomas would want to play again. All he does is sleep. Cone is still on since stitches are still in, healing up nicely though.
Hope everyone has a great Thursday!:D

I went to wipe the food off Thomas' mouth like I always do and his mouth stitch fell out! No bleeding or anything so I didn't yank it out by accident, it finally just fell out on it's own. Yay, first stitch came out!

This is so exciting Brittany, you go there Thomas J, wishing you all the best with the trial:cat:

Great news Brittany!! I'm sure Thomas J. will start playing again once the cone is off. Fantastic news about Hidee, glad she's eating well again!
One more sleep to the BIG COUNTDOWN!!! :D:D:D

He's still drooling like crazy. Any one else have this problem after their kitties have surgery or when they have to be put under, wonder if that's why he's drooling as his mouth is healed and I don't see a reason why he's drooling. Never drooled before this.

Hmmm.... I've never seen that from surgery in my cats, I might ask the vet. The only thing I can think of (other than maybe a meds issue????) is that I know whenever I've had to have oral surgery for myself, the dentist has me sign a consent form acknowledging the possibility of nerve damage. There's a lot of stuff going on in the head/face-- maybe they had to snip something when they removed the cyst?

That's true.

Hopefully it's just temporary, though. Drooling isn't the worst thing, but it's not a heck of a lot of fun to deal with, either!

So excited for the big day tomorrow!!!
