Good Morning!
sigh. Well apparently the big drop into greens yesterday is causing another bounce. AMPS 275 shooting 2.25u

Boomer ate most of his overnight food, leaving about a tbsp. He was standing beside me staring at me wanting attention when I woke up this morning

Yesterday turned out to be a beautiful day instead of the doom and gloom that had been predicted:rolleyes: In the morning I was just about to leave Saunders Pond as nothing much seemed to be happening there; then a wee bird (which ended up being identified as a Ruby Crowned Kinglet) got my attention and I stalked it for a photo for quite a few minutes. That delayed me long enough that a friend of mine showed up....we then saw four birds fly into a near tree and YAY they were Cedar Waxwings! One of my favourite birds. So today's photo is of a Cedar Waxwing!

Keep movin' on down, Deputy Boomer. Gotta get to the lagoon today.

Sounds like a great day of birding. Cedar Waxwings are one of my favorites, too.

p.s. I just joined eBird, one of the neat features of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.

I did the data base for tracking the bluebird years ago. We had 2 seasons of bluebird hatchlings. Then haven't seen them again until last year. They didn't choose our bluebird box.

Hi Ella! Yes I do know e-bird although I rarely post in it. I do check out local areas though to see if anything new has been spotted!
