Good morning!
AMPS 158 shooting 1.75u
Last night I'm sure I could have shot the full dose (and probably should have) but I was so exhausted that I was afraid I wouldn't have been able to monitor properly if he decided to drop on me. Better safe than sorry!

Boomer let me sleep last night. I had to scoop his +3 onto a plate for him but he ate all of it, all of the extra food, and most of the +6. He didn't touch the +9.

Allen ate well last night.

Question: Do all cats stop vocalizing after a dental? Boomer doesn't vocalize for quite a few days afterwards!

The newborn session yesterday was a success although he made me work hard for it! Today I have a brand new session I'm doing....watermelon smashes. I have two scheduled but they are only half hour sessions and two hours apart so I can definitely monitor Boomer if needed.

We are under a rainfall warning/freezing rain warning. They are predicting all kinds of nastiness to hit from now until Monday! It's rained just a bit this morning so far and the freezing rain is supposed to start early afternoon. Cat food on hand---yup. Insulin on hand--yup. Fluids on hand--DH picking up this morning. Meds on hand---yup. Sigh. Spring in Ontario (at least this year):p

My newborn from yesterday.

Yay for sleep! :) Isn’t it sad that he wakes you up so often it seems like a gift when he lets you sleep instead of how it should be anyway?

Glad you have all supplies, hope the storm isn’t too bad.

Adorable newborn! I’m surprised you caught one that little awake! :woot:

I can’t wait to see the watermelon smash ones!

Nice job, Deputy Boomer!
We're getting the same storm (it's from Canada, right? :p). Right now it looks like heavy sleet coming down. Good that you have all your supplies in.
Nice baby pic. The parents must be very pleased.

Thanks for the vines for Rusty. He's doing OK.

Nice cycle even in spite of the reducie.

Cute photo of that little papoose.

Here's my guess about Boomer being less vocal after the dental. With intubation for the general anesthesia, it can sometimes cause a sore throat in humans so maybe it irritated Boomers throat and larynx. One time Bubba caught a bird and one of the feathers irritated his throat and larynx and when he opened his mouth to meow, it was silent. It was alarming at first until we put it all together. He was a silent meower for abut 2-3 days.

Sounds right! It happens every time Boomer has a dental. I think I heard a tiny noise from him yesterday but it was more like a tiny kitten noise lol
