I have not been here the last few days. But he's doing okay! Not stupendous, but safe while I am busy adulting!
 
Wow, he's having really significant drops in his pm +2's these past 3 days! If you're not at work, I'd sure try to get another test in later to see what little sneakiness Tyler is up to when you're not looking.:rolleyes:

I agree...considering how insane your life is, we'd much rather see a safe Tyler!!!

I found two people selling Lantus pens through here both for $30 ea. One is in TX and will ship regular priority [$6.80] with no ice/insulation, and the other wants to overnight it, insulated and on ice from Oregon but is $50-70 just for shipping....

Will the lantus be okay on a priority package with out ice for 2-5 business days?!?! I remember that it is said it can go outside refrigeration for up to 30 days and be fine... any opinions would be great... I am not wanting to risk it, but also not wanting a huge chunk to shell out for shipping!

Any advice would be great!

It's starting to heat up in some parts of the country, so I don't know how comfy I would be with the no ice shipment. Maybe check the forecast for the next few days for TX and FL - not sure if that would be ground shipping? If so, check LA, MS and GA, too.
 
With you being in Florida, I'm not sure I'd risk it going without ice from Texas to Florida...Yes, it might be OK but when it's not refrigerated, it's because humans only use it for 28 days

It wouldn't do you any good if it gets there and poops out on you too soon

If you can swing it, you might want to get a 5 pack from Marks....if you end up not needing it all, you could always sell it to someone else here for a decent price!

Have you tried looking on Craiglist in your area? You might be able to find some cheap and "in the neighborhood"
 
I really can't swing one pen right now. I can't get a whole box; plus will I run into problems with my vet not wanting to write a Rx for Canada?

No reason you have to say anything about where you're buying it!! Just say you want a written script so you can do some comparison shopping!

Once you have a script on file at Marks, you never need another one. I just sent off for my 4th refill on the same script I had called in back in 2014
