05/22 bailey uk would there be a reason hes drinking more if bg is good?

just a question. not tooo worried but would just like to know would there be any reason bailey would be drinking quite abit even though his numbers are good. hes eating as normal and is a very happy content boy! maybe hes just hot haha.

ive even checked numbers on my other metre (my spare alphatrak.......you always gotta have a spare) and there the same.

hees doing great. ive got my playful mischevious boy back. makes you realise how poorly hes been and how long hes been poorly for. not any more!!! neuropathy completely gone. no signs of it at all and the naughtiness erm .... playfulness returned.

I think I just worry too much!

Is it warm there? Sometimes they drink more in the heat. When was the last time you had bloodwork done on him? Were his BUN and Creatinine levels normal? Drinking a lot is also a sign of kidney issues. Not trying to scare you, but you asked. Or he could just be thirsty!

Worrying too much is part of being owned by an FD kitty. You're perfectly normal to us!

Vyktor started drinking a whole lot more, we ruled out kidneys and hyperthyroid and have decided that it's just because he's a cat in particular I've noticed he always has big drinks after a poop

Yeah his blood was only test less 12 weeks ago and vet said he was a healthy cat Barr his diabetes.
His drinking not excessive just a little more than normal.temp has raised a bit here so maybe it's just that.

I don't know, I worry when there's nothing to worry about.lol
