He actually ate decent this morning. It was the Whole Earth Duck but it was from a new case - looked like the first case I got - this past case was a completely different texture so maybe there was something about it he just didn't like - IDK. Fingers crossed.

TGIF - if I can just get through this weekend maybe I will have some answers.

Today is our 22nd anniversary!

I thought of you re: the Whole Earth Duck and what you said yesterday - this entire last case I had was weird, more watery, and the actual, very last can was nothing but water/broth. When I opened it there was no food what so ever in it, it was complete juice (which spilled all over the front of me - yuk). Since it was only the 2nd case I had bought I wasn't sure which texture was the normal but the can I opened from the 3rd case (brand new) this morning was just like the 1st case that he devoured. I am seriously wondering if the food didn't taste right to him or was on the "bad" side and that might be some of the eating/tummy issues - IDK but it will be interesting to see what happens with the new case this weekend. Like I stated above - he ate his PS food with little fight and only left about a teaspoon, which he finished eventually. He hasn't done that in over a week. Now he just licked his +2.5 bowl clean.

Lizzie , I noticed a texture difference in the last case of 5 Oz cans that I feed my civvie brothers who hoover food before they even taste it :woot: Elmo prefers the 2.5 Oz size :rolleyes: and have noticed no difference in his . That’s the first time in over a year that I’ve noticed the difference you told about . Prayers that Giz keeps up his appy and improves beyond it this weekend :bighug:

Interesting. If I get another case, I will request a replacement from Chewy. Hopefully it was just a glitch in the production line and it won't happen.

I sure wish I could figure out more than 1 food for him - at least he at the Fowl Ball that I had in the closet.

I’m so happy to hear that Gizmo is eating well today. Is the IM visit coming up next week? (Sorry I’ve been a bit non existent lately).
