Good morning!
AMPS 306 shooting 3.0u

Boomer ate well last night leaving about a tbsp of food. He didn't wake me (although a Song Sparrow decided to sing by my open bedroom window around 4:00 am). He really likes these friskies pates! (anti jinx).

I've already been out to a couple of spots and had great success! Was hoping to go somewhere with DH this afternoon but with Boomer's +3 (212) he's dropped a lot so I'll have to wait until +6 to see if he continues to drop.

I hope Boomer gets rid of those lousy Pink #'s! :(

I guess I'm hanging around here this afternoon :cat::D Sending DH golfing since I've been leaving him kitty-sitting every morning.

Sorry that you missed going out to photograph, but Boomer demonstrated that he meant business!

We have a very loud Robin who wakes us up at 4 a.m. every day. I heard on the radio that Robins and other non-seed eaters need extra calcium for egg laying (which is taxing on their bodies). The commentator suggested washing out egg shells, letting them dry and then baking them for about 10 minutes in a 300 degree oven. When they cool you crush them (in a plastic baggie, with your hand) and scatter them on the lawn for the birds to find.

Hi Ella! Yes I was saving egg shells for the birds at one point.
Turns out the Song Sparrow wasn't a Song Sparrow but a Carolina Wren. I apparently couldn't tell the difference at 4:00 am lol but heard the bird early afternoon and realized my mistake.
