This morning was the first time since the OTJ trial that we tested Ivana at AMPS time. She was a touch higher than she has been mid-cycle, but I'm guessing that's because she hadn't eaten for a few hours to stimulate her own insulin release. Not that it really matters because it was still green anyway
In other much more important news, Ivana turned 18 years old on Thursday! We had a little party for her complete with a cake and candle and a happy birthday song, and she still doesn't look a day over 17 years and 364 days. We're going to have to watch her at parties now that she is officially of legal drinking age!

The 'cake' was an upturned can of Wellness Turkey, and the toppings were rehydrated treats of venison, lamb, chicken livers, beef livers, and mussels. She sniffed it for about 15 seconds before she tucked in, I think she was a bit overwhelmed with all the treats and didn't know what to eat first!
Ivana did need a bit of help blowing out the candle, and also to hold her back from jumping on the cupboard to eat the burning cake.
