Hellooooooooooooooooo everyone!

I've been bad about not posting! First it was because I was too busy. Then it is just like falling off any routine. He has been on the same pen that expired this month. I bought one from someone through here, and I just opened it today. Tyler's numbers have been going up after shooting, so it's time to toss the bit left in the old pen.

I hope to see his numbers go down after dosing. we'll see!

Hey, Brian.

Uh, you might want to fix your subject line. I was very confused when you said Tyler's numbers were going up because you say he was at 58 at AM+2! Then I looked at the spreadsheet...:p

Since you are only able to get a +2, you are not seeing the whole picture. It's very normal for a kitty to be higher around +2 - it's usually a food spike - and then go down. Is there any day that you can manage to get a curve? It sure would be helpful in putting together the whole picture of what Tyler is really doing.

It's entirely possible that insulin was losing it's potency, so watch out for lower numbers on the new pen!

Will your life ever slow down a little? I don't know how you do it!

You also have to remember, that IF the last insulin wasn't good, that you have to wait for the depot to fill with the "new" so it may take a cycle or two before you see any difference (if there's going to be a difference)

Do you have any days off in the near future that you could get a curve in? With almost all his tests for the past several months being at the same points, it might help to go ahead and do a curve any time you can.
