Boomer ate all of his overnight fuds and called me for more. I didn't get up, I knew he had plenty of overnight fuds, and he came btb.

Allen ate very well last night. Yesterday I gave up the food battle and trying to get him to eat the kidney food and gave him exactly what Boomer got: ff for +3 and +6 and chicken pate for +9. Of course I added p-binder to Allen's dishes. And he ate everything yesterday! No urging/coaxing/parmesan etc needed.

Today on the agenda: well it depends on what the weather does. Right now it's cloudy and windy. I have an early lunch planned with a friend but if the weather improves this afternoon I'll go for a walk. Bird photography sucks right now though; all the grasses/bushes in the parks are overgrown and the birds have too many places to hide. I may have to concentrate on shorebirds for a while but that means a 30-60 minute drive to various spots on Lake Erie.

Nice to hear everyone is eating. Nice picture of the female. I only get to see one male pass through every spring. I guess they don't like where I put their feeder.

 

I don't ever see them in my yard unfortunately. But for the last two years there have been lots in the parks that I visit.

 

So Boomer is up and about at +2 and standing there crying/staring at me. I thought either he is trying to tell me something or he's just being a little piggy and wants fuds early.
Since I am going out around +3 I decided to test him at +2. 119. I guess he's just trying to be a piggy lol. No +2 fuds for Boomer.

Yay for all-around happy appies! FWIW, I never could get Trix to eat anything that was decent for her kidneys and she held steady with Stage III/IV CKD for over 3 years....the p-binder did really help a lot.

Interesting flatness today for Boomer.....I wonder how the rest of the day will go?? Enjoy lunch and the walk!
