Yesterday: Unexpected pj party
Good morning!
AMPS 185 shooting 3.5u

We had an unexpected pj party last night. At +3 he had dropped from 220 to 117 so I made sure he ate (and added a bit of higher carb to his food) then set an alarm for +5. At +4 he woke me up and he was adamant so I got up and tested and he was 56. Gave some higher carb food again and stayed up until +6 and managed to keep him in the 50s and 60s. He also got me up at +9 so I tested, 108. I'm glad I listened to him at +4; at the rate he was going there may have been a hypo by +5.

I've already been out this morning but I really need to find a new place to go; there's nothing different at that pond now that spring migration is done. Back early; DH has lunch plans with a friend today and a few errands to run beforehand.

Nice catch last night. Glad you were able to get Boomer to come back up. I hope he surfs safely today. Great picture.

 

Forgot to mention earlier, Boomer seems less nervous today. Spent the morning on his desk under the window like he usually does.

 

I've been looking for my first Meadowlark and my first Bobolink. No luck. I would also like to get a better shot of an Indigo Bunting.
