He didn't eat his +7.5 snack overnight or his FD snacks - maybe why he is a bit higher this morning?

Hope everyone has a great day.

It's possible that may be responsible for slightly higher amps this morning, it can affect some kitties in that way.

Is Texas Giz feeling OK?? if he were off in some way that may influence his numbers.

Seems good. He was starving this morning though . The panc flare (or whatever it was) seems to have passed. I think he is still bouncing a bit so it could be that too.

Had to run home to get it. I was worried with that drop from 173 to 112(106) from PS to +2 that I had to. No issue - he was surfin along just fine. :banghead::D

I am not getting any results using the link? Any advise? What value should I use for phos?

I was trying to use the values I had for the old Wellness

    Phos-0.85
    Protein-48
    Fat-36
    Carb-7

Nope. Pet food cannot be returned to Amazon.

    :arghh:

What a waste. I am more upset about the formula change.:(

    That stinks.
While you are forced to transition to a different food, you might want to run around your area buying up all the old cans.

That is the problem - I can't find low phos foods locally. And if I do they don't have cases. I am about in tears over this.

I saw some of the old Wellness Core in the pet store 2 weeks ago. Unfortunately, I'm in Canada.

I'd try contacting amazon and giving the reason for return. Who knows, the person who handles your claim might have a house full of cats and be compassionate.

I'd even try contacting the company. Some of them will issue a refund if you explain the situation. I know that doesn't help with finding a new food, but at least you get your money back. If they don't request the food back, you can always donate it to a shelter.

Set protien at min & fat at max, then choose your carb & phos levels

Under 200 for phos is what look for. Besides the Rad Cat raw, the 2 current foods Bronx is happy with right now is Wellness Complete Health Turkey which is a pate (4% carb, 200 phos) & Weruvu Truluxe Glam & Punk (1% carb, 180 phos). I did notice the label change on the last case of Wellness I just bought but haven't tried it yet, hopefully Bronx still likes it. Found chewy.com to have better prices than Amazon if I do autoship. And once got a case of another food that I asked Chewy if I could send back since I realized Bronx didn't like after it was shipped, they gave me a full refund and said I could just donate the food! That is great customer service.

At least they changed the label---it's a heads up for the content change. I was looking for low phosphorus low carb foods recently. I've been through the search before and failed to find anything they would eat. They didn't like Wellness or Weruva or Tiki Cat. On Dr. Pierson's new list I found Iandloveandyou Wholly Cow! It's a pate. My cats eat it. The guaranteed analysis numbers don't seem good but Dr. Pierson's TNA numbers are beautiful. I haven't fed Yum enough yet to make sure I believe the TNA. I always avoided beef in the past because cats get mad cow disease, but...

I'll have to try it, Bronx has not liked any other beef stuff. Is this the only beef so far that Yum likes?

It's the first beef pate I've ever tried. I think I tried some Weruva steak frites (?) which were rejected. Yum's mother (GA) had kidney issues. Whole Foods carries the Wholly Cow!

Yeah, Gizmo doesn't like it either. I have more than 1/2 case up stairs (along with about 3 other cases of different varieties) to take to the vet office. They support a shelter so at least it will go to good use. Well, now probably 4 cases with the new case of Wellness. $$ Shelter cats will be eating well!

I have about 6 cases of food stacked in my entry way, waiting to go to a shelter. Bwahaha! Glad I am not alone! My vet says it is very common for cats to eat the first can of something new, then reject it (after you buy a case). I do have some Wellness stacked there. I don't think it was super low in phosphorus, but of course better than Fancy Feast classic pate.
