Yesterday

I did a terrible thing this morning; I forgot to test Squallie before feeding him and giving him his shot!!! I can't believe I did that!!! I woke up with a raging sinus headache so I asked my son to please feed and shoot for me, and I just never thought about the AMPS test. Fortunately, I think Squall is pretty consistent with his AM numbers, so I'm pretty sure he will be okay, but...I just can't believe I did that. I feel like the world's worst Mamabean.

Thanks, Madrona. The headache, thankfully, is almost gone. I feel terribly guilty about Squallie's AMPS test, tho'!

Pretty unlikely that Squallie will have a low AMPS. Probably the best one to miss if you miss one. And he got one less ear poke! No guilt please!
It is so easy to be confused in the morning. I have read condos where people forget to give the shot. I always worry I am going to do that one groggy morning.

Lol, I almost did that once, realized after about 10 minutes that I hadn't given him the shot, I'd even drawn it up already and still almost didn't give it!

Omgosh I've done that, I know the panic. Squallies. Momma bean is a good one. We are not perfect hes very lucky to have you! Where did the name come from? I love the origins of names. Maybe I should start a thread for that. I'm fascinated.

Lol, he got named Squall after the type of storm, a squall, because as a small kitten he was always complaining very vocally, especially "squalling" at his brothers!

Doesn't look like any harm done with the no test. I can imagine the panic when you realized it . Hope your sinus headache is gone. They are the worst and make me stupid when I have one, just can't think straight.
