Furball was happy & purry this morning. She cleared her bounce during the night. I hope she heads down today so I can see how low she's going on this dose.

Does anyone know how long a buprenorphine shot stays in a cats system? My mom took one of her cats to the vet yesterday and they gave her the shot and she is still out of it this morning. Thanks for any thoughts.

China reacted very crazily to a shot after her last dental...was supposed to be a long acting bupe. She acted like she was being stalked by some kind of giant monster nobody else could see. She was totally freaked.

She'd had oral bupe before but there was something different about the injection! It's "official" name was Simbadol
