I am so mad at my doctor! I gave Squallie a very skinny dose this morning because I had a doctor's appointment and couldn't be here to monitor him; right after I disposed of the used needle, the dr's office called and cancelled my appointment! Grrr.
On the good side, though, I think Squallie is feeling better. I don't want to make too much of it and jinx it, but...today he ate a bit more canned food - still less than 1/4 can, but everything is progress! - and, I know it may sound silly, but he's holding his head differently, more like the "old" Squallie. He just seems more engaged with the world around him. He took a couple of swipes at a feather toy, and I also got him to eat one of his old fave treats, which he has treated like poison the past few weeks! Fingers crossed that he is turning a corner re: appy and sense of smell. I know this doesn't mean he's not sick, but it's nice to see him happy.
