Yesterday

Well, Squallie has had his first doses of all his new meds. I think (I pray) I gave them all properly.

He woke up just FULL of purrs this morning, ate a great breakfast, too. I'm going to take it as a sign of good to come. ❤️

 

Yes ! Yes! Yes! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Keep reminding yourself , Lucy, that with each dose is mixed all the love, vines, prayers that have gone up and are going up for you and Squallie ❤️ Meds plus LOVE !!! My prayer is for these meds to help only and for Squallie to grow stronger and stronger . And for you to have a calm heart as you care for him . I’m so hyper that when I am having to give extra meds I write them on a sheet of paper with times to give and tape it to my kitchen cabinet so I can see I did it . My family sees them and just shakes their heads but I don’t care

Lol, I just wrote them all down in my notes on my phone with instructions on what I gave when! When I'm feeling stressed my memory is worthless! Yeah, my family thinks I'm nuts (they're probably right!) but I don't care, either. =^..^=

I am a note and list person too. I am also a tad OCD so I tend to drive everyone crazy.

 

Good day for Squallie is in order. Love waking to purrs. It's the best thing.

I have hard copy of ss on my counter. Numbers and meds on one line, feedings on next line. It moves from counter to table to couch at night. It seems where ever my tablet goes it's with it. I also use the alarm setting on my phone for med times and test times at night. And when to fill the feeder for the night. I just can't seem to remember to set the feeder up. Since its a manual feeder the times are in 2 hr increments. Messing it up could be a huge effect for AM testing.

I can totally relate to all of these (notes, lists, and possible OCD).
That’s just what makes us all such great beans for our furbabies!

So excited to see the excellent news that Squallie is feeling great and eating well as well! Prayers that this continues as the meds being to work their magic.

 

Squallie likes to lie on the bird cage and watch the lovebirds, until they start trying to nibble on him. Today a "real" bird landed on the window sill, boy was he all over that! Silly boy has never caught a bird in his life, and I'm sure has no idea what to do if he did, but it's great fun to go through the motions and pretend.

 

What a great report! I loved reading that he ate well and that he was full of purrs.

My family thinks I am nuts too, "the crazy cat lady" and I don't care either. To be honest, I like my cats better than some of my family members, LOL. Except DH, he is Purrrrrfect.

And I love this =^..^= too cute.

I thought I was the only one who lost their mind when nervous! I can’t think or remember anything... especially when it has to do with my kids or my BGK! I’m so happy Squally feels good today! You’re an awesome momma... my family thinks I’m crazy for all I do for Baby too. Oh well, she can’t speak for herself & when she’s done with this ole world; I know she’ll let me know. I'm a little concerned that Squallie has made no effort at all to go to the LB today, not even to pee. He has pretty much slept all day, which I figured might be because of the new meds, but I'm worried about the lack of any LB trips.

 

LB prayers on the way ...and make sure that Momma Lucy witnesses said deposits ❤️

He finally had a BM around 7 pm, my time, or @ +10 hours. Still haven't seen him pee, but he must have and I just missed it. He hates the extra pills, but he's very forgiving, bless his heart. ❤️ Not entirely certain but I think he was hunting for lizards this evening, when he decided dinner wasn't coming to him as soon as he would have liked!

That sounds like he is doing good, if he is watching the birds and doing hunting moves . So sweet, I really hope the new meds start working for him!!!!

 

Yesterday was a strange day. Of course I am waiting patiently in Squallie's previous thread thinking "Well, come on Lucy" while you were all having a Squallie party over here. (How rude) And then yesterday, Sunday, Noah went out on the front stoop. The same Noah who lived in our walk-in closet for years and is frightened of windows. I'd like to think he was looking for Squallie.
