09/12 Boomer AMPS 175 PMPS 212 photo

Good morning!
AMPS 175 shooting .75u.
Yes I was planning on increasing him today. But since it's a nice day and he's running high, DH and I are taking the opportunity to go to Long Point (on Lake Erie).

Boomer ate his usual: all of his +3 and extra fuds, a bit of his +6 and about half of his +9.

Allen ate very well last night and left us a gift in his lb in the evening.

Yesterday I was really bummed about the newborn session being cancelled. I needed what I refer to as photography therapy aka a walk with my camera lol. DH was away over lunch but I had tested Boomer at +3 and he was doing absolutely nothing so I went over to the pond. There wasn't too much going on there, even the Goldfinches were gone! But one of the juvenile Green Herons was standing in the water only about 10 feet from the boardwalk! YAY! After that pond, I went to an area (also close by) called The Coves. While I was stalking a bird (which remains unidentified so far) I happened to notice a male Northern Cardinal standing on the nearby deck railing. I took several shots of him. I don't actually remember seeing him do this but obviously something (perhaps the click of my camera) made him jump. Anyways, today's photo is of the Cardinal!

Nice report on the boys. Enjoy your day out. When you say stalking the bird I got a pic in my head of you crawling through bushes, weeds, hiding behind trees. Made me smile, thank you.

 

LOVE cardinals !!! We have quite a few baby Cards at the seed . Amazing how such dull, plain beginnings turn into glorious red ( at least for males ) Happy Day, Judy
