Hang on to your hats! Here goes Mikey! I shot a dropping number. The timer is set to feed a +.5. I'll test at +1 and be sure he's not diving. Mikey, Mikey, Mikey!

Chris, I hope you're right that his liver will figure it out. His liver's not too bright!

Julie, thanks for the tips on that supplement. I haven't had time to look it up yet, but I will. As far as the Levemir goes, I still don't have my mind wrapped around what the advantages would be of switching so soon. If I do switch, I'm going to have to come up with one heck of a good argument to get my vet to prescribe it. He'd never heard of using it in cats.

On the bronchitis front, I have some cough syrup from my doc, so I should be able to sleep better tonight. After the PJ party, that is. :)

Starting that high, you could probably wait for the +1 and +2....hopefully being fed will keep him from taking a cliff dive!

Hope he doesn't go too low for you tonight so you can get the benefit of the cough syrup!!
 
He attempted a dive at +2, but I jumped in with a bit of 12%. Now I want him to just stay right where he is! 126 is a number I can live with.
 
Try chicken soup and a shot of Aquavit! That'll kill any bronchitis!:)

Thanks, Ella. I couldn't stand the coughing anymore, so I went ahead and took the cough syrup after making Don promise to be sure one of us tested. It's making a huge difference in the unbearable coughing, and it's really not making me sleepy. I'm not so sure I'd drive after taking it, but I can test and feed. And pet, of course!
 
Thanks, Julie. He's 146 at almost +4, so I think we're good for the night. I'm sooo curious to see if he bounces. I really, really, really hope his liver smartens up.
