Not a bad start for my Lady today. Maybe yesterday was just a strange day for her.

This afternoon, I have dentist appt to start prepping for permanent bridge. Yeah finally after 15+ yrs. Every time I try to get it done something else eats up the dental insurance. The first 5 yrs was the waiting period. Last year insurance declined to pay "original bridge was not covered under policy, we only pay if work was originally started/performed under this policy"

Hello, this was done when I was 13 yrs old and there was no dental insurance back then. Bridge was originally done 40+ years ago. Are you saying if one of my crowns cracks as one did last year, you don't cover replacement???? It took some doing to straighten that out.

Nice start today for Luci. Hope she surfs safely for you.

Good luck at the dentist.
Dealing with insurance companies is always frustrating.

I have a similar problem (but no dental insurance)

Hope Olive does well today! :)
Have a Great day!

I had the same issue with my dental insurance and a crown that needed to be replaced. Look the thing was 20 years old!

Glad you got that figured out. Nice start Olive! Surf safe.

Nice start for Olive. I hope she surfs safely today. Good luck with the dental insurance.

It was straightened out last October. But the insurance reached its max. Then had to wait to see if benefit carrier was going to change. Thank goodness it didn't so we don't need another precert. Insurance will now pay 80% of it. Rest will now max out my Care Credit for awhile until I get a few more payments towards it.

I'm finally going to receive dental insurance from a job so I'm excited but have not thought of all the loopholes they'll try to jump through just to not cover me. Good luck at the dentist! I hate going to the dentist :joyful:

Nice cycle for Olive!

Dealing with dental insurance is like dealing with Satan. It makes the actual chair time for the procedure seem so easy.....

As long as they cover some. Mine only covers $1500/yr. But they cover 80% of bridges, crowns where most cover 50%

Nice cycle Olive!
Glad your finally getting your dental. I hate insurance. I’m fighting DHs insurance now over his surgery back in September.
