Good morning all!
Scooter’s Chewy order came yesterday. I started him on some of the Weruva Lamb and Duck last night and he seems to really like it. I’m mixing it with his old food and will ease him on to it completely over the next couple days. Then I’ll try the Nature’s Variety rabbit. I hope he likes it too. I guess he did just want something different.
I’ve been a bit panicked this morning. Scooter’s feeder didn’t turn for his last snack last night. I messed with it this morning and finally changed the batteries and it turned when I set it to a couple minutes from the time. I hope it will keep working. I have to leave for work in a few minutes and I’m afraid he’ll go too low without his snacks. If I just put extra food out he’ll eat it all first thing and still go low. Hopefully it will keep working. I haven’t had any problems with it before.
Have a good day everyone! Vines for all kitties and beans in need.

I use rechargeable batteries and change them out once a month, the day she gets her flea treatment, so I remember.

I'm glad Scooter likes his new food. It's so exciting when a Chewy order arrives! Our FedEx driver isn't too fond of them, though, apparently--he'll stack our heavy boxes right outside so that I can barely push the storm door open, the cheeky monkey.

I got away for lunch early (+5) because I was worried about Scooter and the feeder. The feeder was working fine and he had eaten all his +2 and most of his +4 and he was at 53! I stayed for 15 more minutes and he was at 57. At least he wasn’t lower. Added some MC to the feeder and had to go back to work. I’m sure glad it was working or he might have been even lower without his snacks.

I don’t know what I would do without Chewy and Amazon! Being in a small town we have very limited shopping, but between the two I can have almost anything in two days!

I use Wal-Mart and petsmart also they have a flavor of ff chewy doesn't, delivered to my door.

It's getting to the point people don't have to go out anymore. I don't know if that's good or bad.

It's funny, we've had two Chewy deliveries in 2 days here. 3 boxes, 2 of them pretty heavy. I ordered a new tree for the kids and a box bed for my civvie Bella, and then realized the next day I needed to order food. I'm sure the Fed ex guy loved me this week, haha. But yeah, I absolutely love being able to order food online. It's such a pain to buy can-by-can from Walmart (which I do when I want to get him some flaked flavors to shake things up). So glad the feeder is working for you! Scooter is looking absolutely fantastic! I hope he stays safe for you today!!

Great idea! I never thought of it! I will have to get some.

My battery died one night when Smokey went diving. Good thing he came and woke me. He would have been okay, but he didn't think so. They were rechargeable but I hadn't changed them. Now they are swapped every month.

We don’t have Walmart here either, so I can’t even go pick up cans there. On line is so easy. Thanks Amanda! Hope Lou comes back down and settles in to some nice numbers!

I’ve been afraid Scooter’s would die suddenly and have changed the batteries every couple of months. A battery life indicator would be a great addition to the feeder. I’ve probably thrown away some batteries that still had some life left. I’m definitely getting some rechargeables.
