1/22 - Wally AMPS: 250, +6: 311, PMPS: 413, +2: 440

I would go to 7.5 unit tomorrow. We don't know how low he went last night, but overall this dose is still too low.

What protein (type of meat) is Wally getting? Any chance he's allergic to a particular meat? Chicken, fish, and beef are common cat allergens. You might want to track what flavours he's getting before he vomits and see if there is a pattern.

Hello Wendy,

he's eating chicken meat by GranataPet (chicken pollame flavour) since the beginning of December

I'm not changing since then... The only other thing he eats in addition are some little treats of dried chicken from Cosma after we do the blood test

The vomit episodes are maybe related to the speed he eats...and lately he is very very fast.

I'm splitting his food as much as I can using the timed feeder...

Let's go with 7.5 tomorrow!

Thank you :bighug:

Remember it can take a few days till the new dose starts bringing the BG down. His body is trying to adjust to the increase. Be Patient! :):bighug:

If it's possible can you try to get a few tests in during the night? Most cats Glucose goes down lowest (Nadir) during the night. We set our alarm & test & go back to sleep.

Think of the SS (spreadsheet) as a puzzle. You need to fill in all the boxes gradually. It gives us important information as to what the insulin is doing at different times.

It takes time, but it will get easier! Take a few deep breaths (it helps) :joyful:
