Sarge started the day in the blues yesterday and today it's my turn. I was shocked when I read the board this morning. It has been a terrible couple of days for LL. Vines and prayers to the LL mamas whose furry ones have gone ahead. Friends the world over are here for you.

Sarge came back down to earth last night and is in the yellow by the skin of his teeth. We will see what he does today in cycle 6 of his dose increase.

Yes, it's been sadness all around. Everyone's feeling it - i can't remember ever having LL lose 3 in one day. It's awful. Funny how you end up feeling like you know each of our kitties and their little personalities. I've "known" Tiki for 3-4 years, Cobb for more than a year and of course cuz he was a high dose kitty with a hard road, i had a special love for him, and even though we just met Booger not too long ago, she had a sweetness that I loved.

*sigh* it's hard.

I hope Sarge settles in on this 1.0u dose before too long.

The challenges that bring people and kitties to this board really draw everyone together. We do get to know each kitty and feel each victory and loss as if it happened in our four walls. It is a rare and beautiful community. Even more so when three go ahead together.

Sarge is on the move. At +2 we have dropped by nearly half to 142. I gave him some 5% and he will get higher carb later depending on what this breaking bounce looks like.

Suspicious for the second day that Sarge went low sometime after mid-cycle in his AM cycle. I planned on getting a +6 today but it took longer than I planned to get back home. He just doesn't hit the 450's unless he went low first. I guess I will have to get him back down to earth before I know more. I feel so bad when he bounces into the red. I could tell at PMPS he didn't feel quite right but he ate his chicken treats and his dinner. Now we wait.
