Good morning! I got a amps of 139 and decided to wait ten minutes and got 160. I didnt want to shoot and leave her if she was dropping. I guess she went lower last night, maybe not too low and hopefully not enough to cause a bounce. She was coming down at pmps+3 so I fed her lc and didnt think she would drop below 50 anyway. I was feeling a little under the weather(headache, earache, sore throat) all day and took an advil and went to sleep. I feel better this am, so Im off to work. I will leave mom notes as usual, and trust her to do her best as always if she decides to dive. I will update tonight.

If you weren't really comfortable shooting the 139, then you definitely made the right call to retest again, and then shoot at a more higher, comfortable #. Some cats do go lower during the evening hours whereas others (ie. Blackie) like to go lower during the daytime hours. I don't know why that happens, but it does.

I know what you mean about a little delay, retesting. We had a spat of mornings when Polly seemed to nadir at AMPS. Always stalled a trifle to get a rising number before shooting. Especially if it was a work day.

She looks like she may have dropped low last night for sure and was rising this am to a bounce. The dose I gave this am slowed her bounce down for a bit, and then shot up in the latter part of the cycle(I think?). I should've tested last night and tried to prevent any dive that probably happened. Next time I get a dropping number at night I will get more test on before I go to sleep. I felt fine all day, and still do, so I dont know what was going on with me. Im off tomorrow..sorta..I have to go in for a meeting at +7, so no problem there. Batten down the hatches all you folks in the NE..
