He did make it to the lagoon - I hope this isn't the midst of one of his famous early dives - need to check him again shortly
I haven't told my Mom about the case manger coming here in a few hours - trying to think how to tell her without her getting mad :blackeye:

Wow - he has totally surfed for the past few hours - I only gave him about 1 ml of gravy 3 hrs ago, so this has been on his own :D:D:D:D:D (anti jinx)

Didn't do a good job in preparing my mom for the visit - she's mad and says she won't answer any questions - :(:(:(

Carol look at that boy of yours Surfing love it!!!!!!!

Look at my little boy - in the lagoon almost all day - get he needed to come out of the water to dry off
I'm so proud of him - hope this isn't a bounce now - if only he'd put together a few good cycles in a row maybe it would break his frustrating pattern
things didn't go that bad with the case manager - my Mom seemed to like her, but steadfastly refused assisted living or any home health care. She'll only accept me or my sister - and I live 100 miles away and my sister is unreliable

sorry your mom doesnt want anyone but you or your sister.... my mom has her own company where her goal is to keep seniors in their homes... she cleans, will cook, take them to appts, take them shopping, or do the shopping for them... too bad you couldnt find someone like that in Chicago that your mom would like... it would make it so much easier...

Murphy was amazing today... what a great little surfer!!! Try to stay in the water Murphy no reason to bounce.. :bighug::bighug:

I wish your Mom lived where mine does - unfortunately, it's not in Chicago but a smaller town in Northern Indiana - we did a trial run of such an agency but my mom freaked out with a stranger in the house

my mom has her geriatric nursing degree and worked in nursing homes for years... she just found she really wanted to help people stay in their homes longer... i wish she lived closer too... generally moms clients keep her on for years and years and even keep her when they moved into assisted living here to come and clean for them
