Happy Friday! :coffee::coffee::coffee:

Osha is flat today, so I hope that means she will enjoy some lagoon time tonight.

I hope everyone has a good day.

Amanda and Kitty Osha, The Empress

Good Morning Amanda and the Empress Cracker Face, eh I mean Osha :p

Looks like she is trying to work it down. Hope you come home to a nice blue PMPS

Have a nice day Amanda :bighug:

Lol...I love it...Empress Cracker Face.:p Last night she licked my mom's ice cream bowl that was left out. We can't leave ANY dishes or food out with this girl. She is fast, sneaky and too smart for her own good. :cat:

I hope I see a blue PMPS too. It would be a wonderful way to end a Friday.

One board member told me that she had to make sure the sink drain catcher was empty of food debris or her cat would be in the sink trying to get the food remnants. o_O

Did you go back to the F3.5 this morning or is that a typo? Osha, crackers and icecream are for humans, not kitties! She doesn't know she's a cat:cat:

Open to all kitties!!!!! Osha your one funny kitty! Someone might want to let her know she is a sugar kitty and shouldn't eat sweets:cat::p

Good evening Amanda !

Looks like Osha and Small Kitty have even more in common :) Once I'm done with
cooking I got to make sure no spread out is left on the oven or either Small Kitty or
Big Brother will go lick everything up. Same for any dirty dishes, got to clean everything
while I'm eating or the everything will get clean sugary or not :). We need to watch
360 degree all the time !

Nice mood for Osha, like this nice blue, it's amazing how fast she recovered from the
red. Hope she will stay afloat with no steep dives !

Enjoy your evening Amanda, hope there was not thrown out at school today (vomit) o_O

Doesn't look like a dive tonight. I hope she won't keep going up.

No throw up at school, but there was lots of....poop.:arghh: It was everywhere. It was awful. The stomach thing seems to just live in my classroom. One after another, they just keep getting it. I asked for a deep sanitizing of my classroom this weekend. I really hope they do it.

Yes, Osha is like Small Kitty and goes after all food. I have to put her in a room while I am cooking anything. The only thing so far I have found that she won't eat is onions and carrots. I caught her chewing on a banana that I had out early this morning. :stop: Our kitties certainly like to keep us on our toes. It's super annoying, but waaaay better than a finicky cat that doesn't want to eat.

:bighug:

I cannot even imagine a cat with the problem of trying to eat everything - imagine struggling every day to get them to eat something. Sounds like a terrible norvovirus outbreak - how awful - that virus gets on everything and can stay alive on surfaces for up to 2 weeks and people can also shed the virus for a while after they recover. On top of that, the infectious dose is very small - so even just a few viruses will cause infection. Good luck getting the school sanitized. CDC has great recommendations on their website - have you seen it?

I haven't seen the CDC recommendations. I will look them up. I told the school I thought it was the noroviris. The one time I had it I was so dehydrated and had a seizure and was in the emergency room. I am terrified of getting this bug. In fact everyone in my house ended up at the hospital. It was horrible.

I tried to stress the importance of stopping this because several schools have had to close recently due to this. I don't know if they were listening to me.

Oh. And the student who had the issue today....both parents were home sick today because of vomiting.

After what happened I sent the kid to the office to be picked up and they didn't want to send him home. I decided to take his temp after the "event" and he had a fever so they couldn't argue after that.

Almost every day for several weeks someone is vomiting in my classroom.

Every one who is sick needs to stay home.!!!!! We had a real double standard of that in the last dental office I worked out. No auxiliary staff was allowed to come to work sick but, the doctor could come in sick and infect us.....ugh.......

It's all just crazy. One student came in Monday morning and had gotten sick the night before and then was sick in the bathroom within the first hour of being in my class.

Why are they sending their kids to school?!?!

You are never going to get rid of it with kids continually sick - when they projectile vomit, the virus aerosolizes into the air and gets on surfaces that way. Amanda, you need to be washing your hands and using sanitizing gel every 2 minutes, and be very sure to keep your hands away from your face.

Ugh. I don't want to go back to my classroom. There has been so much vomit the last few weeks. :arghh::arghh::arghh:

Osha sweetie the lagoon is a little deeper.. get there slowly but steadily is your best option... and skip the ice cream it just goes to your hips ;) your day sounds beyond horrible Amanda... there is a level of gross there that i am just not good with... sending healing vibes and clean vibes to your classroom :bighug::bighug:
