Another great start for both of my boys! I am so glad that I didn't give up on Walter's trial.

...and I will keep Mandarin on the 1 drop a bit longer to see if we can get a few more days in solid green.

Alright, I better run. I have to be at the shelter at 8 am for my volunteer shift. I will visit some condos when I'm back.

 

Maybe start Mandarin on his trial when Walter finishes his. Yes he can start on Walters party day.

Walter is doing great. He must have heard there will be a party if he behaves and wanted to be sure he got his party first! Go Walter!

 

Well, I managed to traumatize everyone this afternoon. I thought I was so sly when I brought out the carrier a few days ago and I had the illusion that no one would realize that there was a vet appointment coming up. I was wrong. As soon as I tried to pick up Flora, she freaked and everyone else ran and hid.

Flora was totally fine once she was at the vet's, but she did not want to go into that carrier. Unfortunately, the poor girl needs a dental. Her gums are inflamed and she has lots of tartar - and she is only 2.5 years old. Her dental is scheduled for the 21st.

And for those of you who don't know Flora, here she is with her sister Iris. Flora is black and Iris is the Siamese-looking one.

 

They're so adorable. Sorry to hear Flora needs a dental.

Thanks for the picture of Flora and Iris. I'm glad to see them looking so well after all the drama when they were small. Too bad about the dental, but some cats need it all their lives. She's so lucky to have a bean that will take care of those things for her!

I was just going through some old pictures and here are Iris and Flora (and their sister Fern) on the day I took them home into foster. They are still small compared to my big boys (they are both under 7 pounds), but it's hard to believe that they were once this tiny.
