1/3 Quincy AMPS 96 measuring 0.40 qs

    Quincy didn't earn a decrease yet, but I think when he does, it should be more like a .40 or .375 rather than going all the way down to .25 from his current .50 dose. Any tips on measuring this?

    I will pass along what Greg suggested to me months ago...
    Get an old syringe and draw up some sort of liquid (something like milk is good since you can see the unit lines clearly) to a full unit line. Rather than pushing the plunger on the syringe, twist it (kind of like twisting a knob) and count the drops that make up 1/2 unit. I would try this a couple of times for the sake of consistency. Then, you can use the number of drops as a means of approximating these doses.

    Looks like the ladies answered your measurement question.
    A lot of cats get a shaved dose as opposed to a whole quarter unit reduction. Putty and Velcro attend the shaving school I think!
