Yesterday's condo

Finally got worked into the doctor today..that's why I couldn't test between +3 and +7! Worried the whole time I was gone, but had fed her before I left and I know she usually does great..Thank goodness she seems to have done fine :D

Got a big shot of antibiotic and steroid to try to calm down the inflammation in my lungs and told to stay home and take it easy...DUH!!! :facepalm:

The coughing is definitely better (thank you Prednisone) but my temp's going up, so I guess I'm in this for the long haul :(

At this point, I'm just happy it's me and not DM! I'd felt a little bad about not taking her out much lately, even just to run to the store, but looking at how quickly this bug is taking over the country, I guess it was a good idea (even if I didn't realize it at the time) that I'd been doing her shopping for her instead...kept her out of the general population

Oh Chris, how I feel for you, the flu is nasty stuff and it sounds like you now have a secondary infection, hope the AB works, and quickly!

This flu sounds brutal. Glad you went for the doctor-ordered drugs. Now follow doc's orders. Easy does it. China, be a good girl. I think that's part of the doctor's orders too.

Yeah...this flu really is a bad one. I've been hearing on the news about the number of states declaring it an "epidemic" as well as the deaths they're blaming on it.

I know they have to guess which flu they're going to vaccinate against a year in advance so they can get it into production....they sure guessed wrong this time!!

China's being a very good girl...and I appreciate it very much!

Sorry you're so miserable, Chris, but I'm glad you went to the doctor. I know you are smart enough to follow instructions, so I'm not going to tell you to do so. Just sending lots of healing vines for you and safe surfing vines for China.
