Yesterday

Good Morning, Everyone,

The LagoonMeister declares the lagoon open for surfing. Surf safe, kitties!

Rusty had a good night. It wasn't so cold or so windy, so we all slept well. When we got downstairs this morning we found Rusty's bell balls and "Red Ears" (his mouse on a string) scattered all over the living room from his play session late last night. This morning he is sleeping in his little bed by the radiator. I have to go down and rouse him to get him to eat the rest of his breakfast.

We missed our walk to the post office yesterday, but today will be a good day: some sun and temperatures in the 'teens. Perfect winter day in the North Country. Tomorrow promises to be good, as well. This is important, because I was prevailed upon to be a volunteer at the Adirondack Mt. Club's "Winterfest" at the Adirondack Loj in the High Peaks. My job will be to help the vendors set up. I put in for a morning shift so that I can get back to give Rusty his +5 test.

The LagoonMeister is up on shore at the moment, but hopes to be back on duty soon. He finished his breakfast right before I tested him at lunchtime. His eating habits are weird!

It's been nice down here for the past two days...40's/50's with highs in the 60's! hahaha!!!! But tomorrow is supposed to be back in the 70's. Oh, Central FL...can't we just have a week or two of CONSTANT chilly weather. This up and down stuff is killing my sinuses and wardrobe! Stay warm, Ella!
