Good morning!
AMPS 329 shooting 3.0u
I gave Boomer a dosecrease last night when PMPS was 313

He didn't wake me last night although about an hour after going to bed (which is usually his first call) I was still awake....Boomer was missing from the bedroom so I got up to find him and he was heading towards the bedroom so likely coming in to call me
Picked him up and placed him on his bench.
Yesterday was another very good day at Saunders Pond; I saw/photographed the Yellow-Bellied Sapsuckers again and a Merlin (although the Merlin wasn't close). The resident Red-Tailed Hawk couple were there. There was also a rumour circulating that a rattlesnake had been seen the day before

so everyone was staying on the path and not wandering off. I was told the Ministry of the Environment was supposed to be there yesterday morning to look for it. Haven't heard whether they showed up or not.
Today I'm posting two photos.....one of an Eastern Bluebird (love seeing these birds at Saunders but they left for the summer and have just recently returned) and one of the Red-Tailed Hawk from yesterday. I don't usually photograph a bird unless it's either facing me or profile but the markings/colour on the backs of the Red-Tails are so beautiful I couldn't resist!
