Yesterday at Tricia's House of Chaos.
Another wee small hours condo. I'd like to promise that this will be the last, but it's entirely possible it'll happen again tomorrow. Sorry!
Cinco's numbers are giving me heartburn, and when I saw that PM+6 I thought "fur shot!"
But after looking at last night's numbers, I'm not so sure. This isn't the first time he's gone nothing but up in a cycle, and I gave him the sniff test and did not smell any Lantus. So do I still wait a few days before a dosecrease? My trigger finger is getting itchy, and those pink numbers make it worse.
Yesterday, after his last radiation treatment, he had bandages on both back legs, as they had used both for catheter sites. They said that I could remove them when we got home, but I left them on because I knew he would just start licking those areas. I left his e-collar on him so he wouldn't mess with them. When I got up this morning, I found that he had licked the area just above one of the bandages raw!
I took the bandages off and put him in one of his Cover Me outfits. I used the medium sized one, since I wanted maximum coverage for his legs. When I got home from my dentist appointment, my little Houdini was at one end of the sofa, the Cover Me at the other, and his leg looked like raw meat! I put the smaller suit on him and soon discovered he could still get to his back legs. So I added the collar, after a few hours saw that some of the raw area extends down below the bottom of the sleeve, so I bandaged the spot and so far I haven't seen him messing with it. Our next option is the gigantic e-collar and I'm trying like heck to avoid it.
Cinco apparently wasn't happy with his outfit, as he peed all the over the pads around his litter box. Not once, but twice. I'm hoping this is a temporary problem and he won't need me to get out the smaller lb. I swear, it's always something!
Minka's appy was poor this morning, so I gave her some Cerenia and Cyrpo, and when I got home I found she'd eaten all the baby food and some cat food off of one of three dishes while I was gone. I offered some more of that cat food, and she ate it! She didn't like tonight's dinner entree, so I trotted out another can of the fuds she liked this morning, and she's almost emptied that one, too! Not the best one for her, Phosphorus-wise, but she IS eating cat food!
Sasha's appy again got off to a slow start, but by dinner she was eating enthusiastically. I did give her some tummy meds this morning. Don't know if that's why she was feeling better or not.
Harvey's Hoover is once again operating at full steam.

Tomorrow is his IM visit.
I dozed off three times while typing this. Guess it's time for bed!
