I have no idea what is going on with his numbers. The ONLY change is the AB (Thursday 10/11-10/14) and the Florastor (10/13-10/15) and Gaba (10/12-current).

Any input appreciated. He is at the highest numbers since 05/18. My gut says it has something to do with the possible kidney infection and the AB and I don't understand enough about how all that works to know if that is even a possibility.

He is eating well (not great) but getting it done. He is acting like he feels better - he was def uncomfortable yesterday - I suspect tummy upset from the AB (threw up 2x - very little).

I'm glad Gizmo is eating some for you. Numbers can go up while a cat is on an AB. I hope that is all it is. Sending prayers. :bighug::bighug:
 
My dad was diabetic, when he had a urinary/ or kidney infection his BG would go up, and would be difficult to control.

I'm glad he doesn't seem to be in as much discomfort today, if his tummy was hurting then that too could have been contributing to raised numbers.

Infection can cause glucose to go up as well as pain if he's uncomfortable. Keep an eye on the ketones and appy. once infection is resolved his glucose will be back to his usual.
